1. OUR HOME IS A HOME OF PEACE

Peace, not chaos! That’s what I desire within our family even with lots of little ones running around in the home. Plus, those times I give into frustration which can lead to yelling, I still desire that peace to remain in our home even in times of chaos.

2. WE WILL TAKE OUR THOUGHTS CAPTIVE AND OUR EMOTIONS UNDER CONTROL

To help keep that peace in our home, we each need to be taking our thoughts captive and keeping our emotions under control. So, this is a constant prayer and declaration of mine over our home!

3. OUR BODIES ARE HOLY TEMPLES FOR THE LORD AND WE WILL TREAT THEM LIKE THAT

This is a declaration that our whole family will remain pure and we’d each treat our bodies with respect rather than abusing them.

4. I AM BEAUTIFUL JUST LIKE MY DAUGHTERS ARE

Every single girl and woman needs to be reminded of this truth. I know for myself, it can be easy to look into the eyes of my daughters and fully believe and tell them that they’re beautiful. But can I truly believe that for myself? This is a constant prayer/reminder for myself to ingrain this into my mind and spirit.

5. NO FOXHOLES OR STRIFE WILL ENTER INTO OUR MARRIAGE

Ladies, there is power in our tongue, especially towards our husbands. My husband and I have learned the importance of getting rid of any tension or possible little foxholes immediately before they become pit holes in our lives. If we can’t take care of an issue right away, that hole will grow over time. So, I speak this declaration as protection over our marriage.

6. WE WILL STRIVE TO RESPECT ONE ANOTHER AS A FAMILY

Who doesn’t desire respect? Especially from the parent’s perspective, we desire respect from our children. But our children desire respect as well from their parents and siblings.

7. OUR BOYS WILL BECOME MIGHTY WARRIORS OF GOD

I believe this will ALL my heart that my boys will grow up to fight for His kingdom!

8. NO ONE WILL ENTER THIS PROPERTY THAT IS NOT SENT BY GOD

As a parent, I’m constantly praying for the protection over our children and our home. This is my prayer, that NO one will enter our property that is not meant to be here.

9. WE WILL BE WORLD CHANGERS

God has called us to have children to provide influencers for Him. I believe each of my children will grow up to change the world, whether in front of large groups of people or quietly behind the scenes.

10. MY HUSBAND WILL GAIN MORE RESPECT AND FAVOR FROM PEOPLE ALL AROUND THE WORLD

This is one prayer that I have seen more fruit in than any other prayer. I admire my husband a lot! He is making incredible connections with the local people in our area to pursue his life goals. Plus, he is being used to take people under his wing and help them with their dreams as well. I know down the road it will continue to expand and he will have even more favor with people all around the world! It’s always been a desire of mine to see my husband flourish in his dreams.

11. OUR FAMILY WILL WORK AS A UNIT AND STRIVE TO SERVE ONE ANOTHER IN EVERY AREA

Whether you have one child or ten, having your family working as a unit is an extremely blessed gift. My desire for our family is that we would each unselfishly serve one another and always provide a reaching a hand for their sibling before it’s asked for.

12. WE WILL KEEP GOD AND INTEGRITY FIRST IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES

We would not compromise in our faith or integrity towards God and people. This is a strong desire of mine for our family to demonstrate!

13. WITH THE HELP OF GOD, WE WILL KEEP LOVE, SELF-DISCIPLINE, PEACE, JOY AND CONTENTMENT IN THE CENTER OF OUR LIVES

Yes, yes, and yes! Do I need to say anything more?

14. “MAY THE FAVOR OF THE LORD OUR GOD REST UPON OUR HOME.” PSALM 90:17

I love saying this scripture verse to wrap up the list of prayers. His favor WILL rest up on our home.
