I’ve been blessed to team up with Kristina from Messy Tired Love to help launch her recently published devotional for moms, Leaving Your Mom Legacy. Several weeks now, after reading through her devotional I have gained so much insight from scripture and her sharing her perspective on the women in the Bible and mothering topics.

My favorite part in the devotional so far is the first section. Each of those days, Kristina provides scripture to study a specific woman in the Bible. Then, she takes the actions of that woman and gets to the heart issues of what she went through. Kristina brings out to reality what that woman possibly thought and felt during her trial(s). The words in this Leaving Your Mom Legacy devotional takes your heart and mind to such a deeper level with what these women have gone through.
I haven’t found a good devotional in a long time. However, this is one I definitely will be rereading again sometime in the near future! I am not here to be biased just because Kristina is a good blogging friend of mine. But I truly do believe every mom should take the time to purchase this devotional and read it.
Each day, the reading is not super long. It provides you with scripture to chew on, and meditations from her heart for you to reflect on. I have spent about 10-15 minutes each day reading from it. And with the reality of my life right now, that is just the perfect amount of time for me to meditate on scripture and with getting filled and taught by Holy Spirit.
The second part of the book, Kristina brings out certain topics that pertain for us moms to walk out. Again, she directs those topics straight from scripture!
