Have you heard of DelGrosso’s spaghetti sauce? Well, they are known for more than just their sauce. In the tiny town of Tipton (population being just a little over 1,000 people), this town is well known for the DelGrosso’s Amusement Park.
Yes, you heard it. There is an amusement park located in this small town!
DelGrosso’s Amusement Park is a perfect attraction for a family to embark on with young children.
WATER PARK – Laguna Splash
When you first walk through the gates, you have the option (if you paid for it) to walk right into the water park area. This is my children’s favorite part. They have two different sections for little children to splash and play.
There is the Lazy River (as shown above)- just hop onto an inner tube, you can take a child of any age, and have a relaxing ride while getting some sun.
The most popular area for children is the playground in the water. The moms love it because the water never goes higher than your knees. The children love it because on the playground, they can climb and walk around and go down slides into the water! My 3, 5, and 6 year old absolutely love this area.
Older children like to hit up the wave pool (which is located in a different section than the kids area).
For you adults and adrenaline junkies, you will love these water slides! You can pair up on the smaller ones. However, the extremely high ones, are single only.

PARK SIDE
Past the water park area, you will walk over a bridge to reach the other side of the park. They have a wide range of rides for all types of people.
Kiddie Rides- This section is great for toddlers and young children. They have the Helicopter, Elephant, Boat, Turtle, Whale ride and many more.
Family/Children Rides- There is the Carouselle, Bumper Cars, Wacky Worm roller coaster, Free Fall (my kid’s favorite, which is a mini of the Scream Tower), the Train, and Yo-Yo swing.
Adrenaline Junkie Rides- For those that fall in this category, there are a few rides here for you! The Scream Tower- where it goes straight up and drops straight down (as shown below), Rock Star Guitar, and Crazy Mouse roller coaster.
For more details on any of the rides click here.
Italian and American food is located everywhere. You’ve got concession stands, Italian restaurants, and their potato salad! Apparently people travels hours to just come and order this potato salad.
So come on out and make a visit… it will be well worth the trip. And if you’re not a fan of rides, you can get in for free and enjoy watching your children have all the fun!
